Who We Are
Students to Scholars empowers talented youth from overlooked communities to apply to and excel in local independent middle schools, putting them on a path for high school and college success.
What We Do
We identify promising elementary school students from historically marginalized communities and support them through the application process to independent (private) middle schools in Durham where they will be prepare for the college prep path in high school. We provide tutoring for all applicants and, if they are accepted to a school, expand our support for them with our "Success & Support" initiative to support their cultural and academic success in these new spaces.
