What We Do
For more than thirty years, HAC has been developing and providing arts events, programs, and educational opportunities for the people of Hillsborough and surrounding communities. HAC is committed to providing access to the arts for educational enrichment, community development, and economic prosperity.
HAC provides a consistent presence in downtown Hillsborough via the HAC Gallery & Gift Shop, which operates as a consignment platform for over 55 local artists to market and sell high-quality, affordable artwork.
Volunteers are needed year-round to operate the gallery as well as other seasonal programs and events hosted by HAC, such as The Handmade Parade, Solstice Lantern Walk, Artist Workshops, art markets, concerts, and more.
