Iglesia Emanuel Food Pantry

Iglesia Emanuel is a small Hispanic Presbyterian Church, located at 2504 N Roxboro in Durham, with a heart for serving the community. We bring together people from all walks of life, all backgrounds, as we strive to improve the lives of others in a variety of practical, tangible ways. 

As a response to the economic challenges incurred by Covid, Iglesia Emanuel, along with a host of dedicated volunteers, organized a weekly food pantry for any community members in need of a helping hand. Every Wednesday, we provide large boxes and bags of fresh and staple food items to over 500 families. Energetic volunteers are critical to the success of this important ministry, as together we tackle the daunting reality of food insecurity in Durham. The work varies according to the day, is occasionally physically demanding, but is always rewarding and fun. Join us to make a difference in the lives of countless people!
