Montford Point Marine Association NC Triad/Triangle Chapter 38

The National Montford Point Marine Association was founded in 1965 to preserve the history and legacy of the first African American men to serve in the United States Marine Corps. NC Triad-Triangle Chapter 38 was founded in 2016. We are veterans, active-duty service members, family members, and community supporters committed to honoring the Montford Point Marines and serving veterans and families throughout the 22 North Carolina counties covered by our chapter.

MPMA Chapter 38 preserves and shares the legacy of the Montford Point Marines while serving veterans and our local communities. We provide scholarships to support students in reaching their educational goals, help veterans and their families access benefits and other needed resources, and address food insecurity through The Montford Table initiative. We also organize community service projects that support local families, youth, and senior citizens throughout the 22 North Carolina counties we serve.
