InStepp Inc. is a community-based, tax-exempt, charitable organization located in Durham. The organization has served women residing in the Triangle area who have major economic and individual challenges to self-sufficiency since 2007.
InStepp offers long-term support and training to women who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking; women who are transitioning back into the workforce following separation or divorce; women transitioning from prison or jail and Hispanic-Latino immigrant women who are victims of crimes. We are the only agency in the Triangle area that offers long term support and services to help battered women move from a life of abuse to long-term self-sufficiency.
