Durham Parks Foundation

Nine Trustees with ex-officio representation from both City and County governments. Approximately 80 individual and corporate memberships. We accomplish projects in parks and trails with individual doantions, grants, and volunteer labor. Our successes include the new dog park at Duke Park, the baseball field renovation at Wrightwood Park, the new trail at Sandy Creek Park and the new Environmental Education Pavilion at West Point on the Eno.

To preserve, strengthen and expand parks, trails, open space and recreational opportunities in Durham through diverse community involvement, fundraising, partnerships and education.
