Ashe Street Garden Workday

The garden is one part of the demonstration project that DCLT is building on the Ashe Street property to show how we can development affordable housing while supporting the community with access to healthy food, green space, and climate resilience. The work this summer includes rain gardens to prevent flooding and capture pollutants from stormwater – this will also include irrigation for the garden, via the rainwater cisterns that are already on-site.
