Do you love basketball and want to make a positive impact in your community? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to coach youth basketball teams this season!
Coats Parks and Recreation is seeking coaches for several age divisions: 4–6, 7–8, 9–10, and 11–12. Our younger leagues (ages 4–8) are coed, and all practices and games are held at the Coats Elementary School gymnasium.
Coaches commit to one game per week, and a few practices in the beginning of the season depending on age group. No professional experience is needed just a willingness to teach teamwork, sportsmanship, and the fundamentals of the game in a fun, supportive environment.
Whether you’re a parent, former player, or simply a community member who enjoys youth sports, volunteering as a coach is a rewarding way to get involved and help local kids build confidence both on and off the court.
