Join us for a special service day On Sunday December 14th from 1-3 p.m. supporting a Raleigh mom and her four children this holiday season. This is a meaningful opportunity to show up for a mom doing it all on her own and help bring warmth, care, and holiday spirit into her home.

During this event, volunteers can choose to help with cleaning, preparing a holiday meal, or childcare—all core services of Time-In Moms. You don’t have to do all three; simply select the area where you feel most comfortable serving.

We’re seeking reliable volunteers who can commit to two hours and help make this home feel supported, cared for, and truly special. Your presence will make a real difference for this family.

Time-In Moms is a growing nonprofit serving moms in the Triangle by providing essential support—light cleaning, child care support, and meal support—so families can breathe, reset, and thrive. We launched in August 2025 and operate primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. Every act of service strengthens families, supports kids, and helps our community flourish.

We are seeking a Volunteer Event Planner to help bring our mission to life through meaningful, organized, and community-building events. This role will support both service day events for moms and community engagement events that help us recruit volunteers, raise awareness, and strengthen partnerships.

Assist with organizing fundraising events, and service day events 

Communicate with volunteers, moms, and partners to ensure smooth logistics

Create simple run-of-show schedules and checklists for each event

Manage event timelines, locations, and supplies

Ensure events reflect the warmth, empathy, and excellence of Time-In Moms

Who We’re Looking For

Someone who:

Loves organization and bringing people together

Has experience planning events OR strong natural planning skills

Communicates clearly and confidently

Can work independently and meet deadlines

Has a heart for supporting moms and building community

Is reliable, warm, and detail-oriented

Time-In Moms is participating in Giving Tuesday, and we are looking for friendly volunteers who can help us reach out to our community by making warm, supportive phone calls. These are NOT cold calls—you will be contacting people who already know about Time-In Moms or have connected with us in some way.

Your voice and energy will help share our mission, encourage support, and remind people that their gift directly helps moms breathe again.

Make short, friendly calls using a simple script (provided)

Invite them to join us by donating or sharing our campaign

Track completed calls on a provided spreadsheet

Represent Time-In Moms with warmth, empathy, and professionalism

Someone who is:

Reliable and able to complete calls within the week

Passionate about supporting moms and strengthening families

Respectful of confidentiality and personal information

This role helps Time-In Moms understand the impact of our services, guide decision-making, and support grant applications. They would develop survey questions, interview questions, track outcomes, and think about efficient ways to collect real-life feedback from moms, volunteers, and partners.

Design simple surveys and feedback forms for moms, volunteers, and partners

Help identify what data is most valuable to collect

Support the collection and organization of data

Analyze trends and summarize findings for internal use

Support grant reports with data-informed insights

Help Time-In Moms stay organized so that moms and volunteers have what they need. Responsibilities include: scheduling for volunteers and moms, light CRM support, and admin duties. 

We provide moms with 90-minute “time-ins” designed to ease the demands of daily life. Through trusted volunteers, we offer three essential services: light cleaning, meal support, and child care. Moms can select the service that will help them most, and volunteers step in to provide it with reliability, care, and compassion—just like a trusted friend or family member would. By giving moms space to breathe and refocus, we help strengthen families and build a stronger, more connected community.
