Volunteer: RSVP Administrative Volunteer

DCRC is seeking thoughtful and empowering volunteers to join our team providing services to victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking who come to the office for legal or crisis services. This volunteer is the "Director of First Impressions" and welcomes survivors in, creating a sense of safety and peace when they come through the door or call the administrative line. Volunteers will also help in the office complete light administrative duties such as: Organizing supplies, creating volunteer notebooks, creating folders, etc.

You will receive 10 hours of training prior to starting independent shifts. No volunteer is put to work until they are confident and comfortable.

You will receive over 20 hours of training and role playing of crisis calls prior to answering a phone. No volunteer is put to work until they are confident and comfortable. Bi-lingual Spanish speakers are needed also!
