NC 501 C 3 Hub, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Events Committee! As an Event Committee Member, you will play a key role in planning and executing impactful events that support our mission of empowering and strengthening nonprofits.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with committee members to plan, organize, and execute events such as the Nonprofit Volunteer Fair, Nonprofit Resource Fair, and other community-focused programs.
- Assist in brainstorming event themes, venues, schedules, and logistics to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support the development and implementation of event marketing and outreach strategies to increase participation and engagement.
- Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and community partners to secure necessary resources for events.
- Participate in event-day activities, including setup, registration, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
- Provide input and feedback on event evaluations to improve future programs.
Qualifications:
- Passion for supporting nonprofits and community development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit work is a plus but not required.
Time Commitment:
- Attendance at monthly committee meetings (virtual or in-person).
- Additional time for planning, coordination, and event execution as needed.
- 6 to 10 hours each month.
