Bid for Better is a unique nonprofit auction hosted by the Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center.  It will be held the evening of Monday, March 17th from 6:30-8:30 in the RTP area.  This event is special in that it supports a broad range of Triangle nonprofits with a diversity of missions. Agencies keep 100% of the revenue from the sale of their auction items. The event is designed to raise awareness about the important work of nonprofits in our communities and to help nonprofits raise needed funds for their programs.  Come volunteer and have fun while you support some wonderful causes.

Bidder Checkout:  Are you good with numbers and detail oriented? Checkout volunteers are responsible for entering purchase data from sold items into auction software. Ideal for volunteers who can remain kind and calm under pressure, who are good with numbers & computers, neat with paperwork and who can troubleshoot problems. Once guests begin leaving, they help guests check out via Square. They then direct bidders to the pick-up items from the auction tables making sure the guests know that they will need to show a “paid” receipt in order to take their items home.
