Do you get excited by new school supplies? Want to support K-12 students and educators in Durham? Crayons2Calculators is a program under the DPS Foundation committed to getting Durham Public Schools teachers and students the (free!) school supplies they deserve! Teachers submit their supply orders, and dedicated School Supply Drivers will deliver to the schools.
Pick up and Deliver school teacher orders on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12pm - 1pm.
Basic Duties:
- Load a vehicle with school supplies
- Deliver to one DPS school location
- Unload school supply orders to that school
Skills and Physical Requirements:
- Move supplies from carts to car, then into the school
- Ability to drive and access to car
This role is flexible, but we recommend volunteers commit to serve at least once per week.
