Let's give the weeds in this garden a good fright! Join us at Poe Elementary School for some weeding, mulching, and seasonal beautification. We'll be working outside in the two gardens on campus. Please dress comfortably for the weather, bring a water bottle, and wear a mask. If you are interested in helping out for both shifts that's great, please sign up for both times online!
Parking?
You can find parking off the front school lot, off Peyton Street, or find street parking on Peyton Street
Where to Meet?
Head towards the front of the school near the Main Office and check in at the front office with Tenisha, who will walk them around back to the garden. Call Tenisha at 919.322.8006 with any questions or if you are running late. Please be sure to meet promptly at 8:30 am so you can be checked in with our staff on time to start to the work day.
Complete Form to Volunteer
Additional volunteer registration is required through WCPSS. *There will be a form sent to you in your email address linked to your volunteer account. Please ensure that you complete that form before volunteering with this opportunity. Once the form is sent from the school, we will send that out as soon as possible.
