We’re looking for passionate, community-minded individuals to serve as Half-Time AmeriCorps Members supporting community engagement, volunteer coordination, and garden programming at Briggs Avenue Community Garden a program of Durham Cooperative Extension and through partnerships such as the Durham Tech Harvest Food Pantry.
This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who loves gardening, enjoys working with people, and wants to make a lasting impact in Durham.
What You’ll Do
· Support community outreach and engagement efforts
· Coordinate and work alongside volunteers
· Assist with garden maintenance, education, and programming
· Help strengthen local food access initiatives
Key Details
· Service Term: Halftime AmeriCorps (900 hours | approx. 30 hrs./week)
