Join us on Saturday, January 18th for our first Build Day of 2020! We need YOU to help us build and deliver beds to kiddos in need in the Durham area. We will build beds onsite at Lowe’s (117 William Penn Plaza) between 8:00-1:00PM and we will deliver and assemble the beds in the homes between 1:30-4:30PM. There will be a break for lunch between 1:00-1:30. If you are there during lunch, bring your own lunch or there are food options available close by for purchase.
What we are looking for:
- Volunteers to help build the beds (cutting, sanding, drilling, staining and branding). No experience necessary
- Volunteers with trucks or trailer that can help deliver the wood and bedding to the homes and help with assembly
- Volunteers to meet at the homes, help assemble the beds and see the smiling faces of the kids receiving the beds! No experience required.
