Duke Regional Hospital is looking for Outpatient Services volunteer support. Shifts are available Monday - Friday from 8 am-4 pm, 4 hour shifts available. 

Tasks include:

 

Tear Falls Risk BandsCut out orange cards for the Admissions areaRun patients that come into Outpatient Services to various areas of the hospitalRound up wheelchairs when neededTidy up Outpatient Services lobby area periodicallyMake sure that clipboards are prepared for pre-op appointment patientsPrint off and maintain destination copies within the Outpatient Services areaRound the Outpatient Services lobby to check on patient wait times to make sure that if the patient has been waiting for longer than 15 minutes from their scheduled appointment notify FCCsPerform 6-month folder clean up within Outpatient Services areaStamping daily visitor passesOccasionally asked to assist with patient flow within Outpatient Services

Duke Regional Hospital is looking for support in their gift store on Mondays from 10am - 2 pm. 

The position would entail:

Assisting with sales Cash register operations  Stocking and restocking of merchandisePricing Answering phone inquiries  Assist manager as needed

Duke Regional Hospital is looking for support at the Information Desk. Monday - Friday 8am - 5 pm (4 hour shifts) 

The position would entail:

Be able to direct and/or escort patients and families to appropriate destinations. Respond to patient, family, and visitors' requests and/or concerns and refer them to the appropriate staff and resources. Restock supplies, bag mask, put out magazines, deliver dropped off patient belongings, assemble patient information packets, and folding gowns. Arrive on time as scheduled. Help patients use the check-in/out system on the kiosk (Information Desk).
