Who We Are
We are a group of community volunteers, passionate about creating a more sustainable and equitable food system for all of our citizens, especially those who live in poverty or who have difficulty in procuring food and health related resources.
What We Do
End Hunger Durham works with frontline workers and Durham residents living with food insecurity to improve their access to healthy food and community resources. We work to inform our community of food-related issues such as hunger among senior populations, food policy, and summer meals. Our work ranges from surveying and maintaining up-to-date lists of resources such as local food pantries and emergency food services, to providing meals for low-income seniors, and promoting local policies to improve food access.
