CONTACT Line, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Durham, NC, empowers people within communities to verbalize distress and connect with trained volunteer Listeners through video call conversations built on human understanding and empathy.

Vision:

• to provide a free, non-judgemental, and empathetic face-to-face space, distinct from existing call and text lines
• to create a resource for anyone to schedule meetings with trained volunteer Listeners to discuss anything from chronic loneliness to anxiety to a rough day
• to connect individuals from all walks of life, one conversation at a time
