We are a newly incorporated nonprofit looking for volunteers who are as passionate about child development as we are! So far we have: - Built and empowered >700 passionate social impact leaders - Created and executed over 500 service projects - Provided over 4,000 direct hours worth of impactful service - Provided over >$52,000 worth of direct donations, meals, and clothing to those in need

Cooking Up Character (www.cookingupcharacter.org) is a nonprofit volunteer afterschool Character and Leadership Social Impact club where kids in grades 3-5 learn a new skill taught by subject matter experts (nonprofit leaders, corporations, chefs, athletes, scientists, park rangers and more) and then APPLY it in immediately in an impactful Service Project to benefit one of these four pillars: Family, School, Community & Nature. Our club meets Once a Month and kids develop character and leadership skills through applied learning. Kids' intellectual curiosity is sparked as they learn new project-based topics every month and as mentioned take that information in the same club meeting to do an impactful service project for one of our four service pillars.
