Who We Are
PORCH Communities is a grassroots organization that mobilizes volunteers to create local, sustainable hunger relief programs.
What We Do
PORCH Communities is a grassroots organization, with 1,500 volunteers in 600+ neighborhoods across 13 states, that mobilizes volunteers to create sustainable hunger relief programs.
It is easier than you think to fight hunger in your community. At PORCH, our proven model is simple. Each month our volunteers collect bags of food from porches in their neighborhoods and deliver them to local food pantries, schools, or community organizations. By working at the local level, they know exactly what is needed most in their community.
New to food insecurity? No problem. We provide all the support you need to get started in as little as 6 hours a month. All you need is a desire to make it easier for neighbors to help neighbors have food on their table.
