Who We Are
Durham Ballet Theatre’s objective is to promote and increase accessibility to the performing arts by providing educational lecture/demonstrations for the public, by giving free performances for members of our community who might not otherwise have the means or opportunity to attend a performance and by directly engaging in and providing facilities for others to engage in the promotion of the arts.
What We Do
Durham Ballet Theatre is committed to providing training and performance opportunities to a diverse group of dancers who want to be part of a pre-professional production. Our focus is on inclusive and accessible public performance opportunities for those communities that are under-served culturally, economically and artistically in the Durham community.
