Hemophilia of North Carolina is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of persons affected by bleeding disorders through advocacy, education, promotion of research, and delivery of supportive programs and services. Our Vision is for all persons affected by bleeding disorders to achieve their full potential without barriers or limitations.
What We Do
Hemophilia of North Carolina provides support and educational programs and services to those affected by bleeding disorders throughout the state of North Carolina. Programs and services include: • Educational dinners, retreats, and one-day events throughout the year that are free to participants • Travel grants for community members to attend national bleeding disorders conferences • Emergency financial assistance • Gas cards for patients at Hemophilia Treatment Centers • Welcome packets to new members that include educational materials • MedicAlert IDs • Attendance at nursing and other professional conferences to raise awareness • Outreach and education in the greater community
