Who We Are

The Miracle League of the Triangle is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization operating as a baseball league for children and adults with special needs. Our one-of-a-kind program provides a safe and positive place for individuals with special needs to play a team sport, many for the first time.

Our customized fields feature adapted infrastructure, ample handicap parking, and a synthetic sport surface accessible to wheelchairs and walkers. Most importantly, they offer a place for hundreds of players with special needs to participate in a league of their own.

What We Do

Our mission is to create positive life experiences for children and adults with special needs, as well as their families, through baseball.

Our volunteer-driven program supports 40 teams playing on 2 fields, located in Cary and North Raleigh. Anyone who has seen one of our games in action knows that the Miracle League of the Triangle is much more than an ordinary baseball league. It’s an experience of sheer joy, made possible by a community of players, parents, and volunteers. Each Miracle League player has the thrill to be called up to bat with a personalized nickname and theme song. And every at-bat earns the team a run on the scoreboard. Volunteer coaches and “buddies” work one-on-one with the players, emphasizing safety and fun.  The program offers over 4,000 volunteer opportunities between the 8-week seasons held each spring and fall.
