We support and invest in collaborative partnerships of agencies and community services to get children and their families the support and resources they need to have the hope, dignity, skills and ability required to achieve self-sufficiency.
Over the past three years, United Way of the Greater Triangle has invested more than $30 million in local agencies working on issues such as homelessness, hunger, education and literacy, and career readiness thanks to the generosity of our donors. We invest in, and partner with 85 nonprofit organizations throughout the Triangle and another 500 organizations receive funding annually though our designated giving option.
We are working constantly to reach more individuals, more families, and more of our neighbors in-need and doing so by building capacity and leadership among the most effective agency partners, including our successful collaborative partnerships.
