Healing Hands

Healing Hands is a local volunteer organization serving the Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh communities. We value the importance of music as a fun and therapeutic measure and thus send local volunteers to put on musical performances for patients in various healthcare facilities. We are always seeking out new talented volunteers! All musical backgrounds are welcome and diversity is encouraged. Volunteers can perform as solo artists or as a part of a small ensemble. 

We have set up performances at Brookdale Meadowmont Assisted Living, and plan on expanding to other facilities- SECU House, Ronald McDonald House and Signature Healthcare! At any given performance, we have a diverse group of musical performers representing a variety of instruments and genres. 

We have also brought in piano keyboards to the Pediatric Playroom at UNC Children's Hospital and played music with the patients.
