Join Bike Durham for the kick off of Bike Month and the celebration of our 10 year Anniversary. Guests will come to eat cake, enjoy refreshments, win a prize, get a bike check-up, take a spin on an eBike from eBike Central, meet our friends at local Bike Shops and our partners like the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Commission, the City Department of Transportation and and the County’s Department of Health, Durham Parks and Rec, Go Triangle and more. Many guests will go on the Biking Durham hiStories Ride which leaves from the Museum at 2pm! Historian, Ernie Dollar will lead this 8 mile ride around downtown, slow and fun, family friendly with stops along the way to learn about some of Durham's more storied and intriguing sites!
