Be among 50 drivers bringing Christmas joy to our 600 clients on Christmas Day!
You will pick up the hot meals at Judea Reform Congregation (1933 W Cornwallis Rd, Durham 27705) between 9am and 10am, and then deliver the food to an assigned route within Durham County. Deliveries take about 1.5 - 2 hours, so your route will be done by about 12/1pm.
This is a great way to bring the holiday spirit into the homes of seniors in your community as well as your own home and family!
Once you register for the event through the Hands on Triangle portal, a Meals on Wheels Durham representative will send you a link to our Volunteer Application. Once the application is complete, we will help you sign up for a route. If you have a preference for what area of Durham County you'd like to make deliveries in, please let us know!
Drivers must be 18 or older, but volunteers of any age are welcome to ride along and help make the deliveries!
