**Help Us Score & Praise Outstanding Volunteers of the Past Year!**
Judges will work in partnership with the North Carolina Governor's office to review and score anywhere from 60 to 80 nominations. Each judge will have two weeks, from February 6th to February 20th, to read and score each submission.
Each submission includes a narrative essay about the volunteer, which must be a minimum of 150 words. Reading and scoring each submission should take roughly 15 minutes, at most. The majority of this work can be done remotely.
Strong grammar and rhetoric skills are highly beneficial!
This year, The Triangle Nonprofit and Volunteer Leadership Center is judging Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange, Person, and Wake counties. Volunteers will be given a comprehensive rubric and scoring guide.
