Bid for Better is a unique nonprofit auction hosted by the Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center. It will be held the evening of Monday, March 17th from 6:30-8:30 in the RTP area. This event is special in that it supports a broad range of Triangle nonprofits with a diversity of missions. Agencies keep 100% of the revenue from the sale of their auction items. The event is designed to raise awareness about the important work of nonprofits in our communities and to help nonprofits raise needed funds for their programs. Come volunteer and have fun while you support some wonderful causes.
Auction Monitors: Are you detail oriented and enjoy multi-tasking? Closers stay close to the auction tables and encourage bidding on silent auction items, answer bidder questions and efficiently “close” items at the end of the silent auction. Closing equals circling the high bid and turning the bid sheet over to prevent additional bids. Closers also approve high bidders’ receipt so that winning guests can pick up their items and take them home.
