Volunteer With Us for Durham’s 4th Annual World Hunger Day event!
Sunday, June 8, event time is 3-6pm at Durham Central Park.
Strong Food Systems, Strong Community is our World Hunger Day 2025 theme. We’re bringing together all parts of our Durham food system for a day filled with learning, fun, and food! This is a day to raise awareness and honor the incredible organizations working to eliminate hunger in Durham
- Only children 16 and older can volunteer w/out a guardian – waiver needed
- Children under 16 can volunteer if they are with their parent/guardian at all times
- Children (supervised or not) can only volunteer for the following WHD roles – vendor assistant; welcome/info tables; floaters
