Duke Regional Hospital is looking for Outpatient Services volunteer support. Shifts are available Monday - Friday from 8 am-4 pm, 4 hour shifts available.
Tasks include:
- Tear Falls Risk Bands
- Cut out orange cards for the Admissions area
- Run patients that come into Outpatient Services to various areas of the hospital
- Round up wheelchairs when needed
- Tidy up Outpatient Services lobby area periodically
- Make sure that clipboards are prepared for pre-op appointment patients
- Print off and maintain destination copies within the Outpatient Services area
- Round the Outpatient Services lobby to check on patient wait times to make sure that if the patient has been waiting for longer than 15 minutes from their scheduled appointment notify FCCs
- Perform 6-month folder clean up within Outpatient Services area
- Stamping daily visitor passes
- Occasionally asked to assist with patient flow within Outpatient Services
