Student U is kicking off the new school year with our Back-to-School Open House & Resource Fair, an afternoon where students and families can connect with staff, explore helpful resources, and get excited for the year ahead. We need warm, organized volunteers to help create a welcoming, well-run experience from start to finish.
What you'll do:
Set Up Crew (1:00-3:00pm) decorate the space, assisting with setup of tables, chairs, etc.
Event Crew (3:30-6:00pm) greet families and attendees, provide parking directions, support resource stations, serve food
Clean Up Crew (6:00-7:00 pm) clean up after the event, and breakdown tables, chairs, etc.
The vibe: Organized, positive, and genuinely welcoming. You'll be the friendly face that helps families feel at home and helps the whole event run smoothly
