Help a senior by providing rides to medical appointments during weekday day hours. Care Receivers are adults age 60+, or adults with disabilities, who can get in/out of passenger vehicle on their own power (no lifting or transferring). Volunteers pick up Care Receivers at their home, escort them into doctor's office and (as needed) up to check-in counter. Then escort Care Receiver from office for return ride home. You may also choose to make stops for essential errands along the way (e.g. pharmacy, grocery, bank) as your time permits.
Once you have gone through the Volunteer Onboarding process, you will have a personal site that makes it easy to see the opportunities on a calendar and sign up.
