LiveGlobally is hosting their annual gala, the Gratitude Gala on November 16, 2019 in Durham NC and in need of volunteers to help with the following:
- set building and interior design
- set up for the gala
- assistance with auction item pricing and labeling
- assisting food service preparation and serving
- clean up and break down after the gala
Proceeds from the Gratitude Gala will support:
1. Implement the community water project in Nairobi’s Mantopeni neighborhood,
which will quell the suffering of women who walk 5 miles for water. This will then
afford the ability to work stable income earning vocations, hence tuition for their
children’s education and basic needs.
2. Expansion of our current clean water project, Water for Living, to more people
living in the rainforests of Costa Rica.
3. To facilitate, develop and deliver MindBody Centering Yoga trauma-sensitive
programs, at an affordable cost, to Durham communities and public schools.
