The Carying Place is seeking volunteer tutors for students in K through 12th grade. Responsibilities would include
- Meeting with student at least once a week, virtual or in-person depending on students need
- Providing a summary after each tutoring session to The Carying Place and parent
- Working closely with The Carying Place representative to receive lesson plans and materials acquired from the school teacher
Current openings include
- English tutor for student in 6th grade (In-person at Richard Harrison Community Library in Raleigh)
- Science tutor for student in 6th grade (In-person at Richard Harrison Community Library in Raleigh)
- Math tutor for student in 3rd grade (virtual)
- Spanish beginners tutor for student in 1st grade (virtual)
- Spanish beginners tutor for student in 3rd grade (virtual)
