Liberty Hospice, a wonderful organization that offers a wide range of care options for patients and their families, is in need of volunteers offering direct, client-facing support. These tasks can include, but are not limited to:
- Sitting with patients
- Pet therapy
- Talking to people who need encouragement or support
- Leading bereavement groups
- Bringing craft kits to patients and families
Liberty wanted to honor volunteers' skills and use whatever gifts an interested volunteer possesses. The possibilities are endless!
Some positions require additional training and yearly continuing education.
