The Elna B. Spaulding Conflict Resolution Center (CRC) is a 501(c)(3) in Durham, North Carolina established in 2005. Our mission is to provide the community with a different way to experience conflict and find a common ground through communication, cooperation, and understanding.
The CRC is looking for passionate leaders to join our Board of Directors and help drive impactful change in the community. Membership in our Board of Directors is a meaningful way to commit your talents and energy to furthering our vision and mission.
The Board Responsibilities
- Define the organization's mission and goals.
- Evaluate and support the CEO's performance.
- Ensure responsible financial management.
- Oversee and support programs and services.
- Boost public perception and outreach.
- Continuously evaluate governing body performance.
Our board meets remotely every third Tuesday of the month from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. In addition to standard meetings there may be special projects that we will have to meet and/or need of your assistance such as planning for events, review policies, special projects, etc.
