Volunteer Details
Placing ride wristbands on fair attendees
Two shifts 10 am - 4:30 pm and 4:30pm - 11:30pm with breaks (many of the evening shifts will end earlier)
Food and Drinks may be brought into the fair
Free admission to the fair and free parking on the day of your shift
Volunteer will receive a voucher for free admission to the fair for one additional day
On the day of your shift there will be lots of walking to get from the parking lot to the central meeting area for training and then the ticket booth. As well, getting in and out of the ticket booth is not conducive to those that have mobility issues.
Age: 16 yrs old with a parent or older

Opportunity for you to share Christ’s love in word and deed.
Baptists on Mission can build relationships and rapport for future ministry opportunities to and through the NC State Fair.
The donation from the fair in 2022 was used to purchase two pickup trucks to pull equipment when responding to disasters.
The donation in 2023 was used to purchase a small refrigeration and freezer trailer.
The donation for 2024 will be put in our Disaster Response endowment for future use
