Will you help a child SOAR in reading, writing and spelling?! NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED We will provide training!
Please join us February 1st at 1:00pm at Central Carolina Community College - Siler City campus to learn about volunteer opportunities with the SOAR Literacy Program. SOAR is Chatham Education Foundation's (CEF) new 1:1 specialized sequential tutoring program for struggling Chatham County elementary students identified as not meeting NC Literacy Benchmarks. SOAR uses the highly effective Augustine Literacy Project Training and participants can earn CEU's for completion. Each tutor will meet with his or her student twice a week after-school for 45 minutes. Will you help a child SOAR?!
