Move-A-Bull City is a festival celebration of Sustainable Transportation. We are looking for day of volunteers in one of two shifts - 10am to 1 and 1 to 4pm. A free t-shirt and lunch voucher are included as our way of saying thanks. The event is Saturday, October 22nd at the Golden Belt Campus in Durham - Main and Taylor streets just east of downtown. The Campus is a former mill that has been repurposed as offices and social event gathering space.
Day of volunteers may be placed:
-setting up tables and tent canopies
-at our welcome table, handing out materials and recording people's contact information
-assisting with our children's bike safety course fitting helmets, choosing bikes, helping parents fill out waivers
-checking bikes at our bike valet - like a coat check for bikes and monitoring bikes
-helping to maintain trash cans
-checking bathrooms for cleanliness and reporting needs
-assisting our partner organizations in sharing information with guests
